Monthly Newsletter: February 2026

January was fast and furious with a marvelous musical and a sweet Father Daughter Dance! Those events simply could not happen without the many hours put in from the wonderful volunteers at KE! -Thank you all!!

We are kicking off the month of February with the annual Read-a thon! Classes with the most recorded minutes read will be rewarded with a popsicle and recess party! Students who raise money may be entered to win various gift cards!

This is a great way to support our school! Please take time to sign your child up and participate before it's too late!

The annual KE Carnival is coming up soon - March 27th! Mark your calendar and save the date for a fun, family night!

If you would like to be a sponsor for the carnival, please visit www.katyelementarypto.org/carnival and complete the associated form.

We are also collecting auction items, please consider donating this great cause!

Lastly, see below for information on seating for the upcoming Western programs for Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grades. You won't want to miss these programs!

Again, the PTO Board thanks each and every one of you who so generously donates your time, energy, and money to our wonderful school!
