The key to a child’s success in school, besides a quality teacher, is a supportive parent. Katy Elementary offers several ways for parents to be involved in their child’s educational experience. It may include volunteering directly in the classroom or assisting the school through the PTO. Children enjoy seeing their parents at school working alongside their teachers and with other parents.

PTO EVENT SPECIFIC OPPORTUNITIES

Throughout the year the PTO hosts several events both on and off campus. These events are designed to bring our Katy Elementary families together for fun activities and memories. Events like Father Son Fishing at the OLC, Movie night out with Mom, Cookies with Santa, and our traditional Father Daughter Dance and Carnival would not be possible without volunteer support.
