In an effort to provide a positive and safe school environment, Katy Elementary has a house system aligned with our Katy community's history. This program is a way to connect students and staff across grade levels and promote personal connections and relationships which strengthen our school culture. It is a means by which to engage everyone in an active community and connect everyone to our houses.

Our school is divided into 4 houses. Each house, designed by the staff at KE, has its own name, color, symbol, and character trait that represents not only our school, but the Katy Community. Once students and staff are randomly assigned to houses, they remain in that house for the remainder of their time at KE. All new and returning students will be issued a house shirt, generously provided by our community sponsors, to wear every Tuesday on house days.

Students will be awarded points throughout this school year to recognize positive behavior and achievements! Points can also be earned on special occasions such as spirit days, where students will dress up in their house color. All staff members can give out points to students using the Ron Clark Academy (RCA) House App. More information regarding how parents can access the app and monitior student points will be shared the first week of school.
